Why should I join?

Welcome to our squadron! We are currently looking for dedicated teens between the age of 12 and 18 to join our unit and help us in our Missions for America. Civil Air Patrol is a rewarding volunteer organization in which youths can learn teamwork, discipline, integrity, self-confidence, and pride in a job well done, all the while making a difference in our community and across the nation.

Would you like to improve your leadership skills, confidence, discipline, and teamwork, all the while helping others around you develop those same skills, and have fun doing it? Join the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program, and you will have the opportunity to do just that! Once you’ve joined, you’ll also be able to participate in the other two exciting missions of CAP:

Are you interested in airplanes, outer space, aviation, the atmosphere, or becoming a pilot? Check out what you as a CAP Cadet can do in our Aerospace Education program!

Does the thought of trekking through the woods to look for a missing person or crashed aircraft make your heart skip a beat? Would you like to learn about First-Aid, First-Responders, CPR, the outdoors, or disaster relief? If so, you should know that CAP Cadets get the opportunity to learn about and participate in all these activities through our Emergency Services program!

So send us an email, give us a call, or better yet, stop by at one of our meetings to see what our program has to offer, and how you can make a difference in our program.
